Renovating his condo for her well-being
In this heritage condo in the city center, our client dreamed of transforming her space into a soothing haven of peace. We took on the challenge of complying with the heritage conservation requirements imposed by the city and offering her a warm and comfortable place that respects the history of the site.
Details of the project
The issue
Large open spaces can be challenging to furnish and make feel intimate. In this project, our client wanted to redesign hers to optimize it and add dedicated, functional areas. Above all, the condo also needed to better reflect her personality.
The need
- Increase privacy and comfort in open-plan rooms
- Being able to receive guests
- Optimize storage while maintaining a luxurious feel
- Redesigning the master bathroom to make it more intimate
The concept
Our concept was based on a few key principles:
- Partially partition the master suite to incorporate dedicated areas for sleeping, a walk-in closet, and a wet area.
- Install a sauna in the master suite to easily enjoy recovery sessions.
- Create a relaxing atmosphere with a freestanding bathtub
- Install heated flooring in the master suite for absolute comfort, considering the 15-foot ceilings.
Notes on the bathroom
This bathroom is a true invitation to relax. With its touches of wood and greenery that bring welcome warmth, it also offers a sauna and a freestanding bathtub for moments of pure well-being.
Notes on the space
In addition to being welcoming, the new space now offers the client functional and optimized areas. She was able to add a custom wine cellar to her property.
