Quality: a definition with variable geometry. Standard to High-End

Quality in renovation isn’t just about “beauty.” It’s a combination of materials, installation, and finish that, together, define the level of finish and durability of your project. Let’s explore together what these three elements mean for each range.

1. The Standard: Functional and Efficient
Here’s our starting point: the standard range. It’s the ideal choice when you’re looking for an efficient and functional solution, without frills, but that meets standards.

Materials: We’re talking about basic, entry-level materials, easily found in Montreal’s big box stores. Think laminate countertops, melamine cabinets, vinyl flooring, and basic faucets. They’re economical and get the job done!

Installation: Installation is simple and complies with Quebec’s construction standards. No special requirements are required, but the work is solid and safe.

Finish: The aesthetic result is acceptable, functional, and durable. Customization is not expected. Moldings may need to be added to hide slight imperfections. If the structures aren’t perfectly level, the final result will be adequate, without requiring a high-precision finish.

2. Mid-Range: The Perfect Balance
If you’re looking for a little more refinement, durability, and a better aesthetic, the mid-range is your ally. It’s a popular option because it offers excellent value for money.

Materials: Move up a notch with higher-quality materials that are more durable and offer a wider range of colors and styles. Consider quartz countertops, veneered or synthetic wood cabinets, pine, cherry, or porcelain flooring, and mid-range faucets.

Installation: Here, the installation is more meticulous and attentive to detail. More elaborate techniques and finishes are used, such as staggered tile installation, for example.

Rendering: The aesthetic result is much more defined. The walls and floors are leveled for a superior finish. If we decide to reuse certain existing elements, it’s not for budgetary reasons, but because they add value. The labor time required to restore these elements will not be justified by financial savings, but by their intrinsic value.

3. High-End: Excellence and Custom-Made
When we want the ultimate, when we’re looking to create a unique, luxurious space perfectly suited to our desires, high-end is the solution. It’s the investment of a lifetime.

Materials: We’re in the high-end category, with luxurious and durable materials, often unique, custom-made, or imported. Imagine Dekton countertops, natural stone, solid wood cabinets, and high-end faucets that will turn heads.

Installation: This is expert installation, carried out by skilled craftsmen with an eye for detail. The techniques and finishes are of the highest quality, worthy of the finest projects in Montreal.

Result: We’re talking about a custom installation, with 45-degree cuts, herringbone flooring, iron corner niches and window surrounds, and wall finishes installed with Trimtex for absolute perfection. We expect a detailed and personalized level of finish that transforms a space into a work of art.
