The different options for corner storage in a kitchen

There are nooks and crannies in the kitchen that are sometimes neglected, failing to fully unlock the potential of every precious inch. Don’t panic, we have some tips for you! A variety of sliding and/or pivoting systems are available to chefs of all ages looking for space!

Smart corners to put an end to clutter

The Magic Corner

If you have a base corner cabinet measuring 45″ x 24″, the Magic Corner is the perfect system. It allows you to take advantage of space that would otherwise be wasted. It is equipped with four baskets. When the door is opened, the two baskets attached to it slide out completely from the cabinet. Then, the other two baskets, located further back, slide to the side for easy access. Everything is within reach, simply and ergonomically. It can even accommodate a complete set of cookware!

In the same family, there’s another very ingenious system. Thanks to its sliding mechanism and three storage levels, the front baskets slide outward to allow access to the rear baskets. The latter slide outward for total access with just a few movements. The plus? This mechanism is equipped with a much-appreciated slow-close feature.

Lemans, Power Slide & Revo

For tight spaces, systems like the Lemans, Power Slide, or Revo offer systems with two individual shelves that rotate on a central post. This allows the shelves to extend completely from inside the corner cabinet. The door opening is limited to 85 degrees to avoid snagging other cabinets, handles, or adjacent appliances. Their baskets are also equipped with a non-slip bottom.

Easy Access & Lazy Susan

For 36″ x 36″ corner cabinets, there are two very practical systems: Easy Access and Lazy Susan. We appreciate them for their ability to rotate 360 degrees. The central part of the Easy Access is a sliding drawer tray that allows us to remove the contents of the cabinet. This drawer features full-extension slides and a slow-close mechanism for complete access. The Lazy Susan system is also available for upper kitchen cabinets, provided they are 24″ x 24″ in size and have an angled door.

Other options for our corners,
Recycling and waste

For those who are really not keen on corner storage, you can always use this space to install a recycling and waste system. This one has three removable baskets that rotate around a central rotating axis, like the Lazy Susan. Each bin can hold up to 7 liters.

The corner pantry

For pantries located in a corner, we recommend installing sliding interior drawers with translucent fronts. This way you can clearly see all the content inside!
