In fact, over the last few years, the number of open-plan kitchens has multiplied. Closed kitchens and their more traditional style are being left behind. This is very symptomatic of the current trend in the world of renovation. People are looking to rethink their spaces and make their homes more multifunctional. A small example of this rise in popularity: in France, no less than 7 out of 10 kitchens now open onto the living room.
