Does renovating your bathroom seem impossible ?

• Vanity height is generally between 32 and 34 inches from the finished floor to the countertop surface. If you want to install washbasin on the countertop or the bathroom will be used by small children, you can go as low as possible (and even as low as 31 ⅝ inches). On the contrary, if the bathroom is the parents’, you may want a vanity installed higher.

• The optimum width for the toilet space is 36 inches. We don’t recommend going lower than 28 inches in any case. This will ensure the comfort of all users, as well as planning for the installation of accessories (toilet paper holder, wastebasket, etc.).

As for the rest, do you need space for bath games, for example? If so, think about your storage style (basket, cupboard, etc.) and plan the appropriate space for all your needs.

TIPS AND TRICKS TO HAVE A DESIGN BATHROOM

We like:

❤️ Mood lighting for the bath, specifically with a switch nearby. There’s nothing worse than taking a bath under recessed lighting.

❤️ Hide the toilet: avoid the first glance when entering your bathroom being focused on this less aesthetic element!

❤️ Choose windows with half-height frosting to cover the essentials and avoid having to install a window covering in this often restricted space.

❤️ No matter who will be using the renovated bathroom, install underfloor heating. You won’t regret it, and depending on the room’s total surface area and energy efficiency, auxiliary heating is no longer necessary.
